Rock star's 'awful' date with Melissa Joan Hart led to finding love with his wife

Blink-182 bassist and singer Mark Hoppus didn’t have a magical evening with Melissa Joan Hart. In an excerpt from his new memoir, "Fahrenheit-182," shared with Entertainment Weekly , Hoppus recalled meeting the "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" star at the Teen Choice Awards, "and she must've found me interesting because she had her publicist reach out to my label's publicist to give me her number. Totally normal courtship." Hoppus admitted he tried to be cool and use "Hollywood industry jargon" but realized it probably didn’t impress her because she "had been famous for years." Troy Deeney's Team of the Week: Morgan Rogers, Youri Tielemans, Noussair Mazraoui, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Jacob Murphy

Who has made Troy's Premier League team of the week? After every round of Premier League matches this season, BBC football pundit Troy Deeney will give you his team and manager of the week. Here are this week's choices. Do you agree? Give us your thoughts using the comments form at the bottom of this page. Mark Flekken (Brentford): Chelsea had 21 shots yet he kept a clean sheet. It wasn't a great game of football but he's one of only four goalkeepers who kept a clean sheet this weekend. Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): Scored for Palace and has become a monster at the back. Ever reliable and you want him in your Fantasy Premier League team all the time. Calvin Bassey (Fulham): By far the best player for Fulham, he was excellent. Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United): Becoming Manchester United's most consistent defender, goes under the radar but makes a lot of last-ditch tackles - the one he made on Phil Foden kept them in the game. Youri Tielemans (Aston Villa...

"It feels like 50 minutes," Howard can be heard saying in an Instagram video posted on the event's official page. "It does. We're having so much fun hanging, and this is sort of our great excuse to come together, so thank you." The foursome starred on the popular family-friendly sitcom together from 1974 to 1984, except for Howard, who left the show in 1980 after its seventh season. Leicester's Jeremy Monga becomes second-youngest Premier League player in blank shirt

Leicester City debutant Jeremy Monga had to wear a blank shirt when he became the second-youngest player in Premier League history. Monga came off the bench in the 74th minute of Leicester's 3-0 home defeat by Newcastle United on Monday. At 15 years and 271 days old, Monga became the second-youngest player to play in the competition behind Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri, who debuted at 15 years 181 days in September 2022. But because Leicester's home kit is sponsored by BC.GAME, an online cryptocurrency gaming platform, the England Under-16 winger could not wear it. A review in 2020 of the Gambling Act 2005 - which the Premier League is committed to follow - prohibits players under the age of 18 from wearing kits displaying gambling sponsors. "You could see glimpses of his great qualities. He's a great winger and has speed," Leicester manager Ruud van Nistelrooy said of Monga. "He's a fantastic talent, a great boy. He deserved these minutes and hop...

Trump says no pause on tariffs after rollercoaster day on Wall Street ends with most US markets down

Donald Trump has ruled out pausing the sweeping tariffs he has imposed on countries across the world after a rollercoaster day on Wall Street that ended with most of the US markets down. Intense swings were seen on the three main stock market indexes on Monday as economists fear President Trump's "Liberation Day" levies could cause a global recession. The S&P 500 closed the day 0.23% lower, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished down 0.91%, and the Nasdaq ended in positive territory, up 0.10%. But it suddenly surged to a gain of nearly 900 points in late morning. The S&P 500, meanwhile, went from a los...
